Gerri Markota

Ridgecrest Regional Operations Manager

Gerri Markota is a native of Ridgecrest, California, where she began her career as a Defense Contractor in 1980. Since then, Gerri has worked for CSC, CTA, L3, and Wyle Labs. She also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Redlands and a Master’s Degree in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.

Over the past 28 years, Gerri has held progressively more responsible positions supporting aircraft and Range Systems at the Naval Air Warfare Center – Weapons Division in China Lake. Her technical experience includes software development, database and server administration, validation testing, systems engineering, process improvement, and configuration management.

Since 1986, she has held leadership positions supporting the A-6E Weapon System Support Facility and the F/A-18 Information Technology/Information Systems Team. As a Section Manager working for Wyle Labs, Gerri managed over 127 employees and subcontractors providing a wide range of technical support to the NAVAIR community. In 2008, Gerri joined Synectic Solutions as our Ridgecrest Regional Operations Manager.
