Joel Dines

CFO

Joel Dines was born in Minnesota and raised just outside of Chicago, Illinois, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Northeastern Illinois University. Joel joined the Air Force after graduating High School in 1969 and continued to support the Air Force as a Civil Servant working at O’Hare ARRF for the Air Force Reserves. In 1985, he and his family moved to Southern California where he began his career as a Defense Contractor working for the Engineering & Logistics Operations Center of Advanced Technology, Inc. (ATI) as a financial analyst. Over the next 15 years, ATI was purchased by PRC, Litton Industries, and finally by Northrop Grumman. During that time, Joel advanced from his position as a financial analyst to become the Business Manager for West Coast Operations at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems.

In 2000, Joel left Northrop to join Synectic Solutions as the Business and Finance Manager. He became the Chief Financial Officer in 2001 when the company transitioned from a Sole Proprietorship to a Corporation. Since that time, Joel has provided the financial leadership necessary to ensure that the company maintains a competitive rate structure and that we continue to build a strong financial base to support ongoing commitments and finance new opportunities.
