Richard Martinez

Facility Security Officer

Richard Martinez, a lifelong resident of Ventura County, has over 20 years of experience providing support to the local Navy community. Following college in 1986, Richard started his career as a technical illustrator working for VSE Corporation. Over the next several years, he also worked for SRS Technologies, PRC, and Northrop Grumman.

In 1997, Richard joined Synectic Solutions as the head of the company’s Graphics Department. As the company’s lead illustrator, Richard is responsible for technical illustrations, engineering drawing packages, graphic design, 3D modeling and animation projects. In 2004, Richard took on the additional role of Facility Security Manager responsible for administering the company’s Top Secret clearance. Under his leadership, Synectic Solutions achieved and maintains a rating of “Commendable” from the Defense Security Service.
